Respiratory Intelligence
ONYX — Intelligence Behind Every Breath.
Connected airflow sensing and multimodal artificial intelligence, engineered to understand the respiratory system one measurement at a time.

01Our thesis
Every breath is a measurement. Respiratory conditions change hour to hour, shaped by airflow, environment, and biology. ONYX is building the instruments and intelligence to observe those signals together — continuously, rigorously, and personally.

02The platform
Three layers. One continuous understanding of respiration.
Hardware that measures, a model that learns across modalities, and a system that translates insight into structured asthma management.

03Physiology first
Designed around the architecture of the airway.
Peak expiratory flow reflects how freely air moves through a branching network of more than twenty generations of airways. ONYX models that system as a whole — the luminous pulse traces a breath from the trachea to the distal bronchioles.
- 01
- Trachea → BronchiConducting airways where expiratory flow is generated and limited.
- 02
- BronchiolesPeripheral airways in which narrowing alters measurable flow dynamics.
- 03
- ParenchymaLung volume and elastic recoil that drive the forced expiratory maneuver.
04From breath to insight
A single pipeline, from sensor to system.
- STEP 01
Capture
A forced exhalation through the ONYX device is sampled by a precision airflow sensor, yielding peak expiratory flow and complementary parameters.
- STEP 02
Contextualize
Each measurement is time-aligned with environmental conditions and, where consented, cough audio and genomic information.

Interpret
AsthmaNET encodes every modality independently, then fuses them to investigate individualized patterns of respiratory risk.
- STEP 04
Manage
ACMS organizes longitudinal trends into structured, shareable summaries designed to support conversations with clinicians.
